Anonyme II is a Duffy Electric Boat, the world's leader in the electric boat industry since 1970. A Duffy is the original luxury electric boat. But it’s not just a boat, it's a lifestyle. ROSE’
Rose’ is a one-of-a-kind, custom 17' center console Boston Whaler with a cabana striped Bimini top. This colorful little gem has been fully and beautifully restored by Palm Yachts. A truly unique experience, this picnic boat is perfect for anchoring at a sand bar, island hopping, or simply cruising with family and friends. She comfortably accommodates up to six passengers.

THE CAPTAIN
DD Russo grew up spending her summers sailing and waterskiing on the back bays in Orange Beach. After raising her sons and becoming an empty nester, she decided to travel, so she went sailing. She started out as crew aboard private boats, and over the past 5 years she’s sailed from Orange Beach to the Bahamas, Cuba, Mexico, Haiti, Trinidad, Los Roques, Bonaire, & Curacao. She’s also sailed from Bequia up through the Caribbean island chain to the BVI and the USVI. In between those trips she always came home to Orange Beach to see family and spend time here. She earned her Captain’s license during one of these visits home.
Her father and brother are also captains, and they started one of the first charter businesses in Orange Beach back in the 80’s. Their first family boat was a 42-foot ketch named Anonyme. In 1976, when she was very young, DD, her dad, and her siblings sailed Anonyme from Mandeville, Louisiana to Orange Beach. Anonyme stayed in Orange Beach until 2004 when it was lost to Hurricane Ivan.
Very recently, while enjoying a glass of wine on her balcony with her sister Kristy, the two started talking about those times. It occurred to them that maybe they should start the family business again. Nobody knows the waters of Orange Beach better than they do. Together with their dad, they found the perfect boat and christened it Anonyme II.

DO I DRIVE THE BOAT?
No, all trips are run with a USCG licensed Captain to navigate the vessel safely and allow all onboard to sit back and relax and enjoy the ride!

ARE THERE AVAILABLE LIFE JACKETS ON BOARD?
Yes, there are type 1 Personal Floatation Devices for every passenger. All ages are welcome on Anonyme II, but children age 8 and under are required to wear a life jacket while onboard. No exceptions! We have a few child-size life jackets, or you can bring your own. This is recommended, but it must have a USCG approval stamp. Please let us know if you plan to bring children so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets. Call us in advance if you have any special requests or concerns.

CAN MORE THAN 6 PEOPLE CRUISE AT THE SAME TIME?
United States Coast Guard mandates only 6 passengers on board, including children. Each child counts as a person, not a half-person, no matter how young. NO EXCEPTIONS!

ARE CHILDREN AND BABIES ALLOWED?
YES! All ages are welcome. It's such a unique experience! However, please let us know if you plan to bring children or babies so that we can make the appropriate accommodations for life jackets. Children age 8 and under are required to wear a life jacket at all times while in transit. No exceptions. United States Coast Guard only allows 6 passengers on this boat. Each child or baby is considered one passenger, not a half passenger, no matter how young, and will be considered as such in passenger count and for booking purposes.

HOW FAST DOES THE BOAT GO?
Slow! We travel 5 knots, approx 6 mph. After all, this tour is about the ride, not a destination.

SHOULD I TIP MY CAPTAIN?
Yes! Captains do work for tips, so gratuity is greatly appreciated. We suggest a 20% gratuity (per seat or charter). DD is very experienced and knowledgeable, and your safety is paramount! Given what we are about, we searched high and low for the most well-rounded, charming, and professional Captain in town.

WHAT ARE YOUR CANCELLATION AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES?
Bookings are non-refundable within 48 hours of your scheduled cruise. We reserve the right to cancel any tour at any time due to weather, safety, mechanical or behavioral issues. If your tour is canceled, you will be given a rain check to re-book at another time (this excludes behavioral, along with alcohol-related cancellations - these circumstances will never be rescheduled or refunded). For weather-related issues, your safety and comfort are our top priority. We may choose to wait out a brief shower, reschedule for another day, or refund if unable to reschedule. The captain reserves the right to take whatever course of action is most appropriate and will be in contact with you in the event that your cruise may be affected by the weather. "NO SHOWS" NEVER be refunded or rescheduled!
DO YOUR BOATS OPERATE IN THE RAIN?
On Anonyme II, it is *possible* to cruise in the rain, as the boat has a cover. HOWEVER, as mentioned above, your comfort and safety are our top priority, and the captain can decide at any time to cancel due to unsafe or uncomfortable conditions. Your captain will be in contact with you if your cruise is going to be affected by weather.

CAN I GET IN THE WATER AND SWIM DURING MY TOUR?
NO. Once you board the boat you cannot get off the boat until the tour ends and you are delivered back to the marina. This includes swimming.

WHAT ELSE CAN THE BOAT BE USED FOR?
Besides relaxing with a beverage, we can pretty much accommodate anything you have in mind. Photoshoots, bachelor & bachelorette parties, corporate meetings, birthday parties, weddings, proposals, and even your wedding send-off from a waterfront property... you name it and we will try to make it work. Give us a call for special requests.
WILL I SEE ANY WILDLIFE ON MY CRUISE?
While we can't guarantee it, we certainly hope so! We usually see brown pelicans, dolphins, osprey, and egrets.

CAN I PLAY MY OWN MUSIC ON BOARD?
Yes, we do have a Bluetooth-capable speaker that can sync to your phone and choice of music.
DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND DRINK?
We provide an ice-filled cooler or you can bring your own soft-sided cooler. Please bring your own beverages and snacks of your choice.
MAY I BRING MY DOG ON THE CRUISE?
PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY! On Anonyme II, in some circumstances, a dog is allowed on the cruise. Our dog policy is as follows: Dogs are only allowed on a private cruise. Your pet must be pre-approved by the captain. You may call, text, or email for this approval. Your pet may not weigh more than 35 lbs. You are completely responsible for your pet's safety. You are also completely responsible for any damage they cause and any clean-up necessary. By bringing your pet on board, you agree to these terms. Failure to get pre-approval for your dog may result in non-refundable cancellation of your cruise.

DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING DURING MY CRUISE?
NO, we are a non-smoking cruise. This includes e-cigarettes and any vaping devices.

WHAT ABOUT RESTROOMS?
Our boat is not equipped with a restroom. We strongly encourage you to use the restroom before leaving the dock and plan to not drink more than you can 'hold'. However, we understand that sometimes nature calls, and we can make a pit stop if necessary.
